Team Starkid could do anything, and its loyal fan base would follow. The fact that they keep pushing themselves to write better, to sing better, to dance better, to perform better, is (for me, at least) a testament to how valuable they are as people and friends. That spark that started in college, the desire to have fun onstage with your friends, has not gone out, and it’s what makes them great.”

The Beatles - Here Comes the Sun
“Here Comes The Sun was written at the time when Apple was getting like school, where we had to go and be businessmen: ‘Sign this’ and ‘Sign that’. Anyway, it seems as if winter in England goes on forever; by the time spring comes you really deserve it. So one day I decided I was going to sag off Apple and I went over to Eric Clapton’s house. The relief of not having to go and see all those dopey accountants was wonderful, and I walked around the garden with one of Eric’s acoustic guitars and wrote Here Comes The Sun.” - George Harrison

All my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they’re here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday.”

It’s like how the Doctor was surrounded by all this darkness and pain and weariness when he first met Rose. But then Rose began to get through to him and she made him better. She reminded him what it meant to be compassionate and respectful and she touched his life in a way that he became so human-or so full of humanity and this compassion. Rose helped him to open up and gain happines in a lifetime full of darkness and bloodshed. Rose was a little light that touched the Doctor’s life and made it better. I think that’s really cool and well represented in this photoset. Well done.
